Chandler Group Executive Search has been retained by a leading non-profit
health clinic serving Minnesota and South Dakota seeking candidates for the
position of Controller. The purpose of the position is to manage and
coordinate the organization’s accounting and financial monitoring systems.
The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will
supervise the activities of the Disbursement and Accounting Departments,
and will work with the Director of Grants Management to develop budget and
tracking systems for major Federal, State and Local grants. The position
of Controller is a complex leadership role encompassing knowledge of budget
process and other financial modeling used to assist in strategic decision
making for the organization.
Qualified candidates will have excellent educational credentials, will have
the ability to influence and work with diverse groups of people and
demonstrated experience with quality management principles and
applications, group leadership and facilitation experience. A Bachelor’s
degree is required. Healthcare accounting experience is very helpful; CPA,
auditing, non-profit and knowledge of fund accounting is desired as well.
